This is highly unlikely of course, as first she would have to be elected and then both of them would have to die within about the next eight years. I don't think that will happen.

That was the point I was making with my post above that was removed.

According to Mint posting, the release is scheduled for early summer. Will they release
all the spouse coins simultaneously, or will they be sequentially spread over the year?

Release of the first lady coins are supposed to coincide with the release of the presidents whose first ladies they were. I suppose they'll have to catch up with the president dollars already released... or maybe they'll just maintain the lag and space them out, though according to the legislation the Dolly Madison coin has to be out before 2007 is over. My guess will be the Martha Washington and Abigail Adams coins will probably both be out at once to catch up, but that's just a guess.

I don't recall the exact wording, but the only reason I edit or delete posts is when they violate forum rules, including making statements about how the poster feels about certain politicians, not for stating objective fact about statistical probabilities.

Sometimes its the specific wording that violates forum rules, other times it's the subject matter itself, but no posts are ever edited or deleted by any Moderator without careful consideration of the entire situation.

Peter has provided the PRWE forum specifically to permit those who wish to engage in political rhetoric or express opinions on such subjects to do so, without forcing the participation of those who want to limit their participation in CoinTalk to numismatic subjects.
