Seems like a remember someone saying that they would be around for a while Looks like they deleated they post also lol
i had told ND*^ that this would happen and that the 5 coin limit was too high. It all fell on deaf ears and we have a sell out in hours once again. If you guys think this was fast watch out for coin no 3 i predict less than 30 mins for that one to sell out if the 5 order limit holds
Today, I couldn't even complete my purchase in 30 minutes. It took 35 minutes just to get through checkout! I also hope that they limit quantities to 1 for issue #3.
On the other hand, I told my dad to order these, he didn't believe me that they're going to go up. Now he learned his lesson. (before I told him to buy google stock, weeks later it hit $300, I have never made a wrong investment prediction)
People it is still pretty early. Would think there will be a number of cancellations. If one wants to go through the torture of the waiting list, it may be worth it. who knows. Think I may do it just for the heck of it. I thrive on rejection lol.
I don't see how anyone in their right mind would cancel (unless the mint retroactively limits it to 1 order maximum and speads out the other coins to the waiting list people- that is a VERY real possibility).

credit cards sometimes just do not go through. Think if the mint were to go back and try to spread orders out on what has already been sold , it would create more work than they can probably deal with now not to mention some dissatisfied customer who have a comfirmed order. . Just my opinion on that. The mint chick told me that she came to work about 2 hrs. after they went on sale and they were already gone. So a sell out in less than 2hrs Somehow i believe what she said. I went ahead and ordered one just to be doing something. This is as much as an experiment as a desire for the coin. Really did not plan of getting the coin and probably will not. Lets see went on sale at 12 sold out by 2 and i ordered by 5. Pretty slim chance for me I would say lol.
I ordered at 2:30 Eastern and received the suspended notice. Now after calling I am told that I am on a waiting list. With a limit of 5 per household how can they possibly receive and process orders for 100,000 coins? All I wanted was 1 uncirculated. Something just doesn't seem right. Does anyone think people are getting in before the order period. The lady on the phone said that they went on sale at 12 Eastern and had sold out by 2:00 eastern.
I fully respect the likings of others when it comes to collecting coins but it just seems to me that the whole first wife coin thing to be anti-democratic. After all, we vote not for who is going to be first wife or perhaps in the future first husband, we vote for who is going to be the President of the United States of America. The President is the Commander in Chief, etc. The first wife is meant to be along for the ride for after all she or in the future he is not suppose to be part of the decision making processes.
I am very disapointed as is everyone else. I just wanted 2 coins and got off work at 2:00, got home at 2:45, and were already sold out!! I knew these would be hot but not this hot!! Well, I placed my order at 3:10 due to my computer not booting up right. Confounded computer! My order is on hold and things look grim for my coins. I see the speculators making some quick cash on these while the average collector gets left out. Should have called off work!!
I wouldn't be suprised if they changed the limit again and lowered it to 3 coins per household so more can get some of what they ordered. Since they are still accepting orders on the waiting list they need to do something or else they will anger a lot of people as the order count must be double the mintage by now.
i am going to order 10 of the next coin that comes out int he series. I can prolly sell tthose for $1000 a piece that design is going to be a bigger hit
