[QUOTE="John Anthony, post: 2842122, member: 42773"]So I got a PM from Ardatirion suggesting I set up a table at the Red Rose Coin Show next week. It's something I've been considering for a while, except I don't think that crowd is interested in ancient coins in the least, and I fully expect to lose $100, which is the table rent. However, I think it'll be fun, and my wife is going to provide an extra set of eyes for security, and Bill will be there, along with Kerry Wetterstrom, so it should be a pleasant social experience, even if I don't sell a damn thing.

I went to the local coin shop and asked them if they had any trays for sale - they gave me a handful to borrow, which was quite generous of them. One of my pet peeves with these sorts of displays is that often the coins are not clearly labeled in large, bold print, and there are no prices. I realize that most dealers mark their coins up a bit so they can give a "discount" when it comes time to pay, but at least give me a ballpark figure.
