Well kind of a long story. Basically Last time I drove all the way there I forgot my loupe and he didnt have one I could use. I purchased a 1926 "FSB" and when I got home I realized there was a tiny piece not split. I called him he told me to leave it in the orignal holder and he would make things right If I brought it back. Since I no longer trusted buying raw coins from him I ended up with the Morgan that had a sticker price of $70 and this Washington which was $45 I only paid $100 for the Merc so I guess it was a decent trade off although these are not coins I would have paid cash for. I guess next time I wont forget my loupe and if I do I will be very cautious.
