Well today has been an interesting day. I woke up and my parents were going through this box. WE found all kinds of things like my grandpas dog yags, photos, and all kinds of other things. What was most interesting for me was when my dad handed me this little folder thing. It was a commemorative coin for when we landed the first man on the moon. The coin is completed sealed in an airtight seal and uncirculated. Its the best looking coin I've ever seen. It even says its legal Unfortunately its not silver, its cupro-nickel. Does anyone know how much something like this would be worth? its from 1989, 20th anniversary of the moon landing. Im not looking to sell it, just looking for how much it may be worth.

I'm fairly sure these are quite common, my dealer usually has them on sale for about $15.

Yes of course, if I came across a bit crude, please do forgive.

oh no, not at all. I should have worded myself a little better. You are perfectly fine :D I was just saying even though they may be common, its still pretty cool that its been saved for me all this time, even when I wasnt interested in collecting coins. Its almost like my dad knew Id collect coins lol.
