that is the ugliest coin the united states has ever issued, in my opinion.
if they want a dollar coin to circulate, wouldn't it help to have an appealing design, i think a more classic design would be better.

the official new name = the poop dollar.

So what was so wrong with the eagle reverse. I thought that it was one of the better looking eagles on our coins. The new sac fits in with the pres. dollars that look like casino tokens, IMO.

 

They should use the Bald Eagle silver dollar has the basis for a $1 dollar coin. Keep the Sac composition, but make it bi-metal with a nickel clad center and the bronze rim. Wish someone could Photoshop it!!!:eat:

I like the Sac comp,but I don't think it ages well on the main center of the coins. Cost and look make sense, so I think think the bi-metal version would solve this and make a novel coin.

 

It's the dump dollar... no doubt about that.

At least they have to change the reverse every year.

 

this coin looks like one of those look-alike silver rounds... except that it's not silver

that's my impression, at first glance I think it's made by a private mint
