Anyone else catch them say they clean the coin after minting in the video? Kills the value right there.
Yep, got mine and I don't really want anymore. That's an odd idea for a coin, my guess is nobody is gonna be able to flip any of them balls at all.
Whatever novelty factor it may have held was quickly destroyed after seeing them attach Swarovski crystals to it.... oy vey. I will say that it's rather interesting what can be accomplished with the right tools though... if Dan Carr can so closely copy our classic coinage with his CNC, just image what toys like that could do...
I think this is a very cool collectible piece. IMO, it's not a coin, but neither are all the other PM bullion coins, even though they have denomination on it, which technically makes it a coin. That being said, I like the idea of using a 17 century map and gemstones to mark the 7 wonders of the world. I think it's a cool idea. Keep in mind you can't compare something like this to market silver prices. There's a lot more work involved in taking a troy ounce of silver and creating this collectible. Very cool collectible piece.

They already have beanie baby coins. Albeit they are just beanie babies with a clear breast pocket with a state quarter in it but still lol. Here's florida's...
Agree, I was thinking the same thing. More like an overpriced novelty, they figure that coin collectors will buy it if it is advertised as a coin. It may have a denomination of $7 on it technically classifying it as a coin. Though in my eyes that is not a coin.
