The concepts of the Sheldon grading system and slabs are somewhat new to me. The tactile feedback from actually handling the coins (with gloved hands, of course) is some of what appeals to me about collecting, so the concept of slabs is something I&#039;ve not quite warmed up to. So technically would a type set include one example of the series, or one of each &#039;type&#039; in the series? I had initially thought of would be one of each state, etc., which made it make sense that the 7070 was discontinued after the veritable plethora of &#039;types&#039; the mint is spewing forth with the statehood quarters and Presidential dollars.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
