After a long wait, I finally finished my side set of Julia Soaemias denarii. She only had 3 reverse types, so fairly easy to do.

But the scarcest is Juno. Got one last year but took a long time to arrive from an obscure German dealer.

It has very odd black toning. Portrait makes her look like she's wearing a super hero mask. But I won it for well under then I intended & this reverse isn't always easy to get.

Also not the easiest to photograph due to its dark/odd toning.

Very nice! That Juno reverse is hard to come by. I only have the two Venus ones (which I purposely set out to obtain because I have a celebrity crush on Venus):

Congratulations on finishing your mini-set. I like listing groups of three to six coins that have a clear theme and can be completed. It may take a long time to finish them off, but I like to have several mini-goals.

Wow, way cool on assembly your side-set! Congrats on capturing the SuperHero Julia-Juno! I feel the pic came out well. I am starting to appreciate the Empresses from our talks and trades. Thanks.

I still don't have one of her!!!! I bid one one recently and got shot down. :(

I dig the reverse with the little kid off to the left of venus!

My current standing venus is ok, it looks better in pic then in hand, how rare does that happen.
