One - established members are trying to be helpful to new members by telling them to make their post in a different forum section. But what they don&#039;t tell them is <u>to do that the next time</u> they make a post !</p><p><br /></p><p>As a result, the new member, usually not having any idea how the forum works, follows the advice given them, and creates a double post by doing exactly what they were told to do.</p><p><br /></p><p>Then, sometimes, the very same person, who told the new member to make that 2nd post in another forum section, reports that very post for being a double post ! I mean - <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie100" alt=":wideyed:" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /> <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie12" alt="o_O" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /> <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie5" alt=":confused:" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />&nbsp; But even if it&#039;s not the same person - somebody else will report it as being a double post ! And it&#039;s all because the new member does exactly what they were told to do.</p><p><br /></p><p>So c&#039;mon folks, I know your intentions are good, you ARE trying to be helpful. Not only to the new members but the mods as well.
