i have been trying to gather information on taxes, tariffs, import charges, customs etcetera but haven’t been able to determine what the most accurate answer is. I’m in Canada. I have the inclination to purchase some pieces from other parts of the world, ie., Portugal and the Russian Federation especially. From the vagueness in the Google search, I think it depends on the value of the purchase, am I wrong? If I bought a roll or a few from Portugal for instance, over $25 CAD, would I be paying twice that at the border in taxes? Anyways, any factual conclusions would be of great help. Thanks! btw... won my first 2 auctions. I had no other bidders to contend with on either so... yay, very small price to pay.
