Of course you also have to take into account the effect market grading has had on coins over the years. 15 years ago a coin that was graded VF20 would easily be graded XF35 today. Unfortunately grading standards have changed greatly in the past 15 yrs.</p><p><br /></p><p>I would suggest getting aquainted with the current grading standards so that you know what you are looking at price wise. Of course you can always apply your own grade to the coin - but don&#039;t expect to find what you were used to 15 yrs ago.
