    I'm nearly positive it is a genuine clip,I didn't take a pic of the edge, but think it is genuin because the edge doesn't have a sharp squared cut edge, instead it has a slightly bumpy look with a grooved edge, and the strke gets weaker towards the clip the st in trust fading away the 5 in 1995, you can also see the weak fade of the strike on the rear side. That is pretty much the indicator for the clip preexisting the broadstrike as opposed to being post mint

    So send it in and ask. We could talk about it for a month and never reach a definitive conclusion. They'll look at it for seconds and know !

    The broadstruck half dollar with clip is absolutely genuine. I'd guess its value at somewhere between $100 and $150. A curved clip will straighten out when a coin is broadstruck as there is no constraint on expansion. The extreme metal flow in the design elements bordering the clip establishes its authenticity.

    Real nice finds bq. I bought 20 minor errors for $10 recently and thought that was a good deal. Your new coins are especially nice since the cost is irrelevant.
