Finally pulled the trigger on this coin

    1807 ? What price did you pay ? Why is the last digit of date so big? Sorry for all the questions . Thread needs more info.;)

    Yes, this is the 1807/6 large 7 variety. According to pcgs, I paid ag3 price for this coin. I may get a g6 out of this. No matter what, I’m happy with it

    There is a free service called PhotoScape that makes it very easy to straighten out images.
    Oh by the way nice coin.

    Is an interesting piece. Maybe the seller downgraded it because it has fingerprints on it?

    You can try Lunapic also. I like it, it's just that it can be tricky to make it do what you want it to do. There is more of a learning curve if you never used an editing program like this.
