I thought she might like the design of these coins, but it was I that ended up liking the design and she really had no interest in collecting.&nbsp; I don&#039;t know the exact details on this coin, but somehow I tend to believe that it started off as a one year type coin and somehow was minted for two years.&nbsp; This is the 1976-77 4 Busts of Queen Victoria series from Turks and Caicos.&nbsp; In 1976, they released a 20 Crown silver, 50 crown silver and 100 crown gold in both proof and unc.&nbsp; The silver coins are relatively easy to get in proof but the unc silver and gold are pretty tough to find.&nbsp; In 1977 they released this coin again in the same 3 denominations and only in proof along with a coin series celebrating the 4 Busts of King George. I believe that the 4 Busts of Queen Victoria was never planned on being released but maybe someone thought it would be a great companion coin to the 4 Busts of King George.&nbsp; I don&#039;t know.&nbsp; This is just pure speculation.&nbsp; Needless to say, the 1977 mintages are a fraction of what the 1976 mintages were and these coins are tough to find.&nbsp; The silver coins are the most common as they are often offered on ebay in a 2 coin (20 and 50 crown) set for both the Queen and King.&nbsp; The toughest coins to find are the gold ones.&nbsp; I have only personally seen 3 gold coins for the Queen and only 2 for the King for this year.&nbsp; Well, after 5 years of searching, I was finally able to purchase the gold set on ebay and had the Queen one graded.&nbsp; I am up in the air on what to do with the 1977 3 coin set for King George as I haven&#039;t graded them yet.&nbsp; This was not my collecting focus.&nbsp; For the complete rest of the set, please go to my website and click the link for Turks and Caicos.&nbsp; Enjoy!</p><p>[ATTACH=full]349430[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=full]349431[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=full]349432[/ATTACH][/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
