I have seen&nbsp; more 1809, 1811/9 and even 1822 dimes on eBAY than 1828 JR-2&#039;s.&nbsp; In fact, this was the first large date 1828 I saw in about a year. I guess they are heavily hoarded, or else they are scarcer than assumed. </p><p><br /></p><p>This example is not perfect, it does have an edge nick and light scrapes, but, it is quite well detailed and I think originally toned.
