The final space shuttle launch is this morning at 11:26AM EDT. So, post your NASA medals, coins, or anything else!
Here`s my"Anything Else" I was at London Heathrow in the mid 80`s just about to fly off somewhere and saw this.
Very very cool. Here's my "anything else" Me, my girlfriend, and a good friend of ours had originally planned on seeing the launch when it was scheduled for June 28. Unfortunately it got postponed but we still went to the Space Center and got to see it on the pad.
They interrupted the Price is Right for this launch. I mean, yes, last launch, historic, blah blah. But come on, it's the 10,000th Price is Right episode! It is a rerun though, it showed April 1st originally.
Here's one of the only U.S. coins with a shuttle on it... and definitely the only coin with half a shuttle on it I had it cut into a coin puzzle which I thought was pretty neat.
Two from around here, and from the "anything else" category.
