    I picked these up with my error note. Paid 2x face value. I had seen the silver certificates before but never owned any red seals. Hope I didnt get beat up too bad.

    I think you may have overpaid for the '63 $5 red seal a bit due to its condition but that you did alright on the rest. Overall, I feel that what you paid for the lot as a whole balances out decently.

    In all honesty you overpaid but not a lot over. Condition is everything on paper money.

    Yea i wasnt sure as I primarily deal with coins but they were from a friend so no worries there. thanks for the input.

    I've over paid before but I liked what I bought so I was happy.
    After all it's my collection and I enjoy it. I did make up for the over payment on other buys from the same dealer so we're both happy.
    I think you did well.

    As mentioned, condition is everything (almost) on currency, but I think you did fine and now have examples of those notes in your collection, after all, they don't print those anymore.
