So we can get a good laugh when we need one ;-) I'll start the ball rolling with this beauty... the seller's username is "pokemonaccess702", and no offense to any of you who love Pokemon, but that username doesn't exactly scream confidence to a numismatist...
.... $119.95 for a simple Die Break which the seller calls a CUD.. Not a CUD! https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/321733998227
Who knew fermenting concord grapes could produce such wonderful toning.... https://www.ebay.com/itm/1921S-Morg...h=item2ab7838b8a:g:IjIAAOSwRQFbtR0R:rk:7:pf:0
Due to the storage conditions as stated above, having a coin graded MAY result with the coin being identified as having abnormal toning even though the conditions of storage were unusual but perfectly natural and are market acceptable. I do not guarantee that the toned coins will be graded as natural and can not give refunds for this reason. Generally only coins with a value over 250.00 should be sent in for grading. Nice disclaimers.
How about this one for $10,000 https://www.ebay.com/itm/1971-S-PRO...h=item20ffbf5163:g:wZIAAOSwMmBVtukz:rk:4:pf:0
Don't know where the auction got to but a slabbed five token set of McDonalds tokens went begging for $135,000 on ebay recently
Not such a bad coin, but if you want to have $299 for it, please remove the sticker (stating 279) first! ...oh and maybe don't call it "high grade" if it has a scratch and env damage. @Eduard @Seattlite86
Saw this for sale on eBay. Not gonna post the actual listing because the seller is cool. But man, another fantastic judgement by the Professional Crap Grading Service...... This really should’ve been bodybagged. Sometimes I’m embarrassed I own coins in their holders. This is the kind of stuff that makes me want to crack and send to NGC.
CBD, those are not “hits”. The coin was originally bent and some brilliant chap put it in a vice or used pliers and bent it back. The clamp on the vice or the pliers created those “hits” and that scratch. Note the scratch and digs, then how the uneven wear on the obverse and reverse corresponds to them.
So the seller for this Quarter says it is an Obvious Mint Error It's obvious that they don't know what a true Mint Error looks like!
Here we go again with this SOB........ Another scam listing for a 1916-D. This seller steals legitimate dealer pics and reposts them as his own. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1916-D-Mer...ils-Highly-Collectible-Key-Date-/401633431826 Every time I see this, from now on, I place incredibly ridiculous high bids on his auctions and report him to eBay! Dude is thinking he’s gonna get $10K or more, so the scammer gets scammed. Ha. If my eBay rep takes a hit, it’s worth it to prevent someone from getting screwed by this bastard.
