Then take a look at the 1950D and magnify it. People hoarded rolls because they actually WERE a relatively low mintage. That&#039;s why a BU coin costs little more than a VG.</p><p><br /></p><p>Over the years the price has dropped because so many were saved.</p><p><br /></p><p>Now apply this to modern coinage that isn&#039;t really even being circulated or released. Should make the 50D drop look like child&#039;s play. A $5 roll of Lincolns (that&#039;s what we get at work for a roll of 2010) will drop to 50 cents (what it&#039;s worth).</p><p><br /></p><p>The year is young and I hope they do mint some nickels but remember this.
