Falling platinum prices................

Ahhh! Yes sir, point taken. I won't disagree with you there. I don't know of any specific examples off hand but I am sure this happens more often than we may think. As most of us are focusing on the trends on hand, we forget what happend last year.

OT here, I want some platinum coins. I have never owned them, admittedly I like that yellow stuff. But I want see what platinum is like.

 

I own more palladium or platinum than gold; I just never like gold myself. All of them are Russian although I'm still looking to get a UNC platinum instead of proof strike. They are just different shade of grey. That's at best I can describe.

I'm just surprised that platinum price has fallen sharply and this is even with news that platinum supply is rather acute at the moment. Guess demand has fallen sharply due to absurd prices.
