Last week I flew coast to coast, first time since covid hit. After passing over the Wasatch mountains to the east of Salt Lake City I looked down, and the mountains were covered in lovely red and yellow tree groves. I'm pretty sure the yellow groves were aspen, I'm not sure what the red trees were, but they were pretty. Given that we've already got a thread devoted to golden color, let's have a thread devoted to red color, either toned silver or copper.

I realize this isn't fully red, but in keeping with the leaves changing color theme...

I had a job interview in Salt Lake City a few years back. Took a long weekend to take in the scenery and drove up 150 through the Wasatch/ Uinta mountains. Here is a picture (although not red) at the 150 scenic overlook in early October.

Coin and a sunrise taken a couple of days ago from our deck. The ferry docks about 30 minutes from here. What a sight to greet people arriving for their holiday

Here in Oklahoma we don't really get the bright red colors...more of a golden red.

Mint set. One interesting aspect is that it's a P mint, which would normally tend toward blue toning. D mint would be much more common for red.

Here's an end roller for you...
