While I can appreciate the case for a fake on JA's post, I can't see anything about Cyrrhus' example that screams fake---but I've been fooled more than a few times... How about you guys??
I agree. The surfaces look fine on Cyrrhus' coin. It would be good to know the weight. As far as the style goes, you really have to study the different mints and rulers on these types. There exists a multiplicity of styles, and the danger lies in using the wrong measuring stick.
Sorry to crash your cast party but my fake is struk from fake dies. I bought it at the same time I got a pile of Slavei denarii but I am not sure if this one is also a Slavei. Anyone recognize it? Sorry about the camera but the image I have at hand right now id from a photo page.
Nope, On Forvm, when you want to copy an url, you must copy the permalink situated at the bottom of the file information (under the picture and the description. If you copy the top screen link you will have a relative link : should someone modify their gallery or withdraw an image and everything following them will be moved. Hope that makes sense and helps Q
Yes but the permalink only appears if you first click on the i (second from the left in the blue bar at the top) which brings up the information at the bottom including the URL.
