I don't see anything that makes me immediately think it is not genuine. If it is fake, its a pretty good one. However, it had environmental damage and was thus scrubbed. After it was scrubbed, it was polished. It also has serious rim damage. There is a decent amount of detail left after all that, but it has to be seriously discounted for all the problems. I'd call it Fine Details, net AG. The $1700 price is a bit strong - if confirmed genuine, this one should probably be more like $1250 - $1500. Remember, this is still a rare coin.
