I bought a silver Krugerrand, 2017, that checks out in every way available to me, and meets the specific gravity of silver. yet it does not have the tiny "KRUGERRAND" word etched into it below the Springbok's leg, in the mountains. Is this a fake, and if so, why would someone make one .999 silver?

Check online, but I'd guess that the
silver version just doesn't have that
word - only the gold piece.

But you should be able to find a photo
of the silver K-rand, and compare it to yours.
