BS! Exonouma is a legit category and you're obviously clueless to what it is. Ever heard of the Franklin Mint, Danbury Mint or Highland? The buffalo 5 nickel is a prime example. A Gold clad replica from NTM. There is nothing wrong selling these if they are represented as a Exonumic piece opposed to a Numismatic investment. This is a CLOSE example of fraud as the REAL coin actually exists as a numismatic investment. As for the German Bar. Nothing ever did exist that could be viewed as an original piece. That is metallic art, Exonumia. Nothing more nothing less. COUNTERFEIT bullion is illegal and that is what ebays policy is there to enforce. Not a novelty. That German bar is a NOVETY and if you're duped by it you should stay away from Bullion period. Their are currently over 127,000 items sold in ebays exonumia catagory with over a dozen sub categories. Ever since APMEX partnered with ebay in January 2013, and now that they're in bed together, Exonumia is under attack. APMEX, PNG, and other grading companies would like to rid ebay of Exonumia altogether because they can't profit from it. I suppose that cubic Zirconia and costume jewelry should be disallowed too. As Tiffanies will not profit either. CZ's could actually be mistaken for a diamond, even by the educated. Not the case with your example. Funny how that link redirects to Bullion sold by APMEX and Scottsdale on ebay instead of exonumia isn't it? Now that the road has been cleared by ebay for APMEX to be a partner, fools like you will be paying 25% over spot on gold and silver. Anyone buying precious metals on ebay is paying way more then they should and it is that that should be banned.
