Fake Baseball HOF coins

I cannot help but wonder exactly "who" supplied them with originals to fake??

I also hope that the US Mint involves the US Trade Department, FBI, and SS to take the necessary action.

Are the listings "Taking Orders" for something yet to be manufactured?

 

I believe these should have a copy stamp as they are considered legal tender so the seller is breaking the law there. Then putting them in US Mint packaging. Honesty isn't the first word that comes to my mind in describing this seller.

 

Are your photos of the fakes, or of legit ones you bought from the Mint?

Those are not my pictures, they are ebay seller's photos of HOF souvenir (fake) coins.

 

Now that I look closer, those boxes don't look anything like the ones my coins came in. No capsules either. I should'a known...

 

This is troubling. Glad I bought mine directly from the US Mint.
