Agree! Lets also remember that of all the ones you destroy, only the genuine can not return. The fakers have a back stock ready to go when the demand presents itself.

 

I think it's good to own a fake or two and that way you can study them in hand. I know a few serious collectors that have what they call a "black cabinet" full of fakes. They have a lot of real coins as well.
