Ok I was searching eBay and found a dealer that had this particular Chinese 5 ounce coin it supposed to be 5 ounces worth of silver it weighs 5.5 and it is larger than the Mexican 5 ounce coin. It's outer layer is covered in silver. But what's inside I will drill it to find out uploadfromtaptalk1468429215315.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1468429220394.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1468429223931.jpg [IMG][IMG]

Well if you know it's fake but me, I wouldn't use a coin from a different country or a food scale to make decisions before drilling into it. Maybe you bought it for really cheap?

Before you fire up that drill, please realize that your scale appears to be reporting "oz", not "ozt", and that 5 troy ounces is about 5.48 "regular" ounces...

The acid bubble green first, I want to core it to see if it is our copper on the inside

Would the vendor not take it back? Hopefully not an expensive way to prove a point.
