Fake 1890 Morgan

    the stars.the lettering and the date are all pushed up against the rim. no spacing from the rim. definitely a fake.

    Joe, no offense, but my advice to you would be........."Don't buy any raw Morgans!" LOL!

    The denticles are wrong. The font is wrong. The legend is too close to the denticles, and the "9" in the date is not even close to a match.

    My first clue that this is a fake is the MM looks completely wrong. But I can also see pitting on the rim, and in the fields bothsides, which is indicative to a casting.
