Facebook ipo

    Facebook may sooner or later come up with ipo , would you actually invest in fb ipo ?

    No... I won't. In fact, I won't be investing in any equity for at least another 2 years. A recession is looming in the horizon and I don't want to burn my savings by taking any more risks.

    But as far as the Facebook IPO is concerned, it is a quite attractive one. But a lot will depend on who will win the Google+ vs FB battle. If Facebook is able to retain its market share, then the market cap can zoom many times.

    Facebook has hit it's peak I do believe. It will remain a formidable force in the near future but I don't see it able to retain it's strength beyond the next decade. So for short term goals sure, but I wouldn't mess with i. I don't see it having staying power. Something else more viable and technologically savvy, maybe something from Google, will come along and replace it.
