I think you are seeing something that is just a reflection off the coin. I think in hand you wouldn't see that. Also no I don't see anything but a reflection and pixel distortion from being zoomed in on.

    I see something...

It's someone who needs to take some time and read books about how coins are made.

These posts about symbols and such on coins is doing nothing but confusing the people who come along later and read these posts. There is nothing there. I hate to be blunt about it but you have obviously not listened to anything we have told you over the past 2 or so years... and you have been told the same thing many many times by many many different people.

Like I said you are zooming in and distorting the pixels. There is nothing there the mint is not reusing old dies and they are not using old coin blanks or punching coins over old coins. The mint destroys and defaces old dies. (http://www.houstoncoinclub.org/sumsem/hoppz.html) many of the statehood quarter dies had the face ground off and sold. Ice

Carlos...your gonna have to spell it out to me as your references are as vague as the symbols your typing about.
If you want us to know please explain.

Mr Duke; if you ask to different persons about what they see in this picture. Most of them will said; "a cloud". If you ask me what I see, I'll said "A message from the Angels for some body around that area in that specific moment". I can't prove my words, but I know it's THE TRUE. And remember some of them also will said "I don't see anything".

I can see the TeddyBear in the clouds but I can't see anything in your Kennedy half. Maybe you should read only for awhile until you get off the meds. You are confusing alot of newcomers with your overzealous BS. Give it a rest dude!!

Oh, the Kennedy does have a pressed in cheek area, total value 50 cents!!:D

I think the original coin is an error. It's either a strike through or maybe as Mike said the die beginning to come apart. I don't think this is PMD tho.

Mr. Carlos. I believe you see something there. That Teddy Bear - is a picture from a movie. Try looking it up with Google - "image" "clouds" "teddy bear" . Photoshop can be used to add or accentuate images and shadows. Most people here know about photoshop, and how it can be used to doctor images of coins that are sold for more than they are worth on eBay.
Nothing special about this half dollar other that the circular impression that was pressed into the cheek, probably by the Mint.
Oh, I just found a potato chip with an image of Elvis! Just Kidding. I was going to say the Virgin Mary but I did not want to offend anyone.

Rockdude: When they changed the money. We were no there. We don't know if the material from the old colony coins was very, very, very well melted, before passing under the rolls. After I checked up that video my guess is THE ROLLERS. Remember also that, some times "The official History is one but the reality is other.

Carlos Arriaga you keep drawing on pictures but you havn't explained anything.
What are these crazy images that you think are on old coins and what do they mean?
So far I have to agree with it seems everyone else as all you say is "it's very very old" what does that mean?

These are new coins from a melted metal the dies are new from new melted metal...?
