    Hello all. New thread here called, "Fabulous Fifties Friday!". Please post your coins from the Fifties. ANY century. [​IMG]
    This first coin I found while metal detecting here in the U.S
    It's a King George the 2nd, 1753. It was found only a few inches down just above a large flat rock. [​IMG]

    The 1450's is one of the hardest decades for Early Dated
    coins. A total of 42 different coins, most being R5 or R6.

    (That last, the Esperanto coin, was actually struck in 1960 though it was dated 1959.)

    Here’s my 1955 D over S PCGS MS-64 Nickel. Look at the die wear on this one. I bought it for the over mint mark and the price was more than fair. I have this coin since the late 1990’s.
