OK, well that was a pain. Meow's camera is not very good at taking wide shots, so this it the best Meow could do. (That is the reason Meow posted closeups of the individual coins, as Meow can photograph in that scale well.)
Fred Weinberg is a renowned expert in error coins. He should be able to help. Personally, these look like die scratches to me..but I'd wait for Fred Weinberg to help.
I believe we can agree that the three quarters are interesting. Particularly if Fred shows an interest..... But really, Meow. While we are a goofball group around here and like to poke fun from time to time. The third person thing is just.... Well, odd and somewhat difficult to respond to.
Can't even tell that the 3 coins are from the same mint. Show the coins in their entirety but next to each other. No "wah wah wah" my camera can't do "blah blah blah". Just take the dang pictures and post them.
Must you be so annoying? You're giving all cats everywhere a bad name by continuing with this ridiculousness.
Beagles, Bagels, Mice, Dogs, Cats - we still need to see the three coins, laying flat on a surface, so we can see what you see.
Meow....? It seems everyone on here loves cats. But this? Doing nonsense typing. Hard to understand you.
I am only wondering if Meow the cat is still here with us. If the Polishing lines are legit then you have brought a Many thanks to the Numismatic crowd. Please respond back and help us to understand the Third Person. Getting corrected so that one learns is normal around here, it's not meant personal. But if you take it to heart. You/I might actually benefit.
Meow speaks in third Cat. Because Cats will be Cats. Meow profits none by sharing any neat finds, so does not need to be criticized for any reason. Funny how talk about the coin(s) is secondary to talk about the method of presentation. Why would Meow feel the need to have to listen to any criticism(non directly related to coins)? So if Meow was a writer for a publication, and Meow had a boss/editor tell Meow to conceal Meow's feline nature; Then that would be a different story, as Meow is obligated to the publication as a paid entity. So if all here is going to dismiss any possible unique, rare, or interesting finds just because a Cat found it; Is not in the spirt of the forum, hobby, and goodwill towards other beings with similar interests. Also funny how some seem to want to make seeming political statements by telling all they are putting Meow on ignore. Is that a form of social justice? If one does not like it personally, ignore it and don't read it. We don't need to attempt to form an angry mob, just because you want to feel better about one self by punishing Meow. (See how one poster calls Meow a troll, and is faking the coins in question.) So anyway, you seem to have noticed that Meow got the message and stayed away. And will most likely not post anymore.
Many Folks around here aren't gonna like the third person talk, I say too bad, and I am one of them. We get folks like you on here regularly. They beat around the bush and when asked to do something simple to clarify their point. They either disappear or they do what you did and post something completely opposite. Is there something you are trying to hide? Just post the three coins side by side. That shouldn't be too hard to do.
@MeowtheKitty I see you are doing the same thing here are you did earlier on the other forum...the third person talk has become annoying now. No problem if you don't want to post...it's up to you if you want to or not.
Cool find Meow, and nice photography. I agree it's from the condition of the obverse die. I'm not sure why people feel the need to personally attack the OP here, but I find it very disappointing. This is a legit numismatic post of an interesting find, which is more credit than I can give to many of the new posters on this site. The OP was not breaking any forum rules and should be allowed to contribute and discuss the hobby like anyone else here, free of harassment.
