I'm boring. Seven is my first name.

I can never come up with anything witty for these things. :)

    Hello everyone.

No, I do not play the drums....lol. I get asked that all the time when I use this as a log in. I got the nickname from my father when I use to go fishing with him. Here in Texas there is a freshwater fish called a "drum". I was always lucky, or should I say unlucky, enough to always be catching this trash fish. So, one day my dad started calling me "The Drummerboy" and it just kinda stuck. It always brings back some very fond memories of the times I got to spend with my dad.

I'm new to this forum and I must say it is very interesting too. I hope to be able to learn a lot from all of you.

    Welcome, drummerboy.
Glad you found us. Maybe we can learn from each other.

Did you know that there's also a coin called a "drummerboy"?

Thanks for the greeting Jody. I take it you are talking about the 1776-1976 Bicentennial Quarter. Have always like that design. If I remember right was designed by Jack L. Ahr.
Maybe I need to change my AV to reflect that design.

That is a long set of initials. I was guessing the initials meant something like "G.D. Jones from Minneapolis/St. Paul" :D

    Nope - they're just initials :D

Gordon Douglas John Michael Spencer Prather - don't ask it's a long story

You're correct about the designer of the bicentennial quarter reverse.

If you want to change your avatar, here's one that is 100 x 100 pixels.

Back in the 1960s, my favorite television show was The Avengers. There was an episode called “Danger Makers” where each member of a club went by a fake name, typically of Roman or Greek origin. John Steed, infiltrating the club, used the name “Bacchus”, which earned him a double-take from the club president (“Apollo”). I thought it was funny and decided I’d use it here.

Since the dawn of time I have been called Joe this or Joe that. Good thing, because that's what my mom named me.
It used to be Joe Mama, Joe Daddy, Joe Cool.

But Joecoin is the one I enjoy the most.

cush66 - 1966 Cushman Super Eagle scooter. Years back I sold my harley and rice burner to ride a bike I could never afford as a kid. It died on me 2 years ago. Nothing more thrilling than to be on a cushman putt putt when an 18 wheeler passes hehheh. Its all in pieces and in disrepair now but when I am done procrastinating I will restore it...kinda. hmmmm sounds just like that pile of world coins that I was going to figure out what they were LOL!!

Well, the color of my car is Deep Indigo Blue Metallic, and I have this odd habit of naming my cars. So I named her Flo, kinda a play off of the song "Indigo Flow" by Limp Bizkit. Hence the name, ndgoflo.

This is a neat thread. Sorry I don't post more but time is just not available these days.

My handle is obvious. Lack of imagination one might say. Art is my name.

Do you work in Enfield, CT? If I recall correctly, I think they are located there.
