Hello I recently found this quarter in circulation. Research tells me this may be a experimental planchet state quarter from 1999. Heard there were some coin experts on this site please help...would like to know how much it’s worth?

Most likely not an experimental planchet, but someone who has plated the coin or colorized it afterwards. Do you have pictures of the side of the coin?

IMHO.. Not Experimental Planchet. Only worth 25 Cents.

I don't know a whole lot about this, but in my opinion it seems like the coin was altered post mint. From what I can see, I don't think the gold color is as even across the coin as online examples of coins with experimental planchets. Based on the picture, it looks like some silver color may be underneath the gold.

Who told you about experimental planchets? That is supposed to be a secret. The Secret Service should be calling on you soon!

I have a goldish looking coin also should I have it graded from PCGS I heart SGS was not a reliable course.

I really hope you didn't spend anything on that.. it's certainly not MS70 from what I can see.
