    Your exhibit though was a great entry - Sometimes we just get out done. See if you would have used Free Software actually, you would have been real close.

    Though my collection is Mostly US , I buy what I like with some Ancients , Canadian , English , Polish , Indian >>>>>>>>> you get the idea . So many nice coins out there .
     
  14. As a collector of British coins I can say that the image of Britannia (which has appeared on British coins since the Roman occupation of Britain ), has evolved a lot in it's design. Before the introduction of Britain's decimal currency I remember that whenever you checked your changed there was always a chance that you could be lucky enough to obtain a Queen Victoria bun penny, I once had one dated 1891 in my change from my school lunch money. The Britannia on Queen Victoria's Copper and bronze was a work of art, and it also appeared on the 4d groat.
    In today's current British coinage you only see the image of Britannia on the 50p coin. I would one day love to see the Britannia design re-introduced on the 2p and 1p coins, but this could never be because they would be too similar to the pre-decimal halfpennies and farthings.
