Exceptional experience with Berolami

    It is a cast fake. The edge is totally smooth with not even a tiny crack or split and the incuse punch is shallow and with no crispness. Compare to this one -which I bet was the mother coin they took the imprint from.

    But I guess there is no definitive way of knowing if this mother coin is genuine or not either, or is there? Getting the alloy just right and cutting new dies for this simple design should be within the means of any good forger.
