Vinegar and salt mix. It will get rid of that gunk first,then pull it before it removes the petina. And it should only take a matter minutes.

Ratio Currently drowning it in olive oil. Perhaps the vinegar and salt will remove the oil drowning it is currently undergoing. What is the recommended ration of Salt to Vinegar I should try?
