Look at the mint mintage figures. Then look at the condition/grade of these. Grab a Red book and do the math. One sheet is probably going to come in around $25,000.00. Nobody, not even Redfield had a hoard like this. Plain and simple, it's too good to be true. These dates are highly made in China. I'd avoid at all costs.

In fact, if I wanted to spend $25,000 on a coin, I'd have a lot of better choices than the dates you're looking at.

One of the things we need to be aware of as collectors is that the economics of this kind of forgery has changed.

Once you have the guys made it's just as easy to fake common dates as rare dates. At $0.60 a piece it may be economical to artificially wear and age them and sell them into the junk silver market.

Selling 30 of them for 15 bucks a piece may not be quite as lucrative as selling 30 one at a time for two hundred bucks... but it's easier and less risk. Remember one of the things that set everybody's antennas twitching was seeing a sheet of 30 rare dates unslabbed and all looking a little too similar.

Thank you for your understanding, and respected evaluation of the imaged coins. It's apparent that you have a proper understanding of the technological capabilities. My statements were intended to be general, and not an evaluation of your capabilities. An apology is hereby submitted if personal offense was taken by my post. I trust same can be accepted by you.

I personally can't evaluate quality of replication from images, so I defer to your perception from the images. Nor do I have the capabilities, as you may have, to closely examine the photos for obvious defective features.

I believe we both know the abilities to replicate, with virtual duplicity of inspected specimens. I've great respect for the Chinese/Asians after working for several decades with scientists/engineers from throughout the world, and having 18 years experience with their "offspring".

Your understanding of the imaged product seemingly is paramount to mine.

Now that Ike Skywalker showed proof they are fakes, I'm sure Mr. Wood will agree!

Probably beating a dead horse haven't read rest of thread but this is the scammiest line I've ever seen. Honestly this guy is a terrible scammer using a line like this that's so see through.
