That is more than nothing, but I don't like it very much:

    - I couldn't find information on that site about the "markets" where that information is collected from. For example, in eBay you should take care of the price itself and shipping cost as well to take a global idea.
    - The company comes from Thailand. It is not clear to me that prices are in dollars or euros.
    - I don't find prices accurate. Many cheap coins are too expensive, in my opinion. And a few of them are too cheap.
    - Some of the coins were only issued in sets. Sometimes (quite rare) these sets are broken to sell the coins separately, but it is difficult to say what the value of one coin is. It makes more sense to know the value of the whole set.

I took the prices to be in Euros, mostly just because it's listing Euro coins.

Euro coins on eBay are either:
    - overpriced and with a reasonable S&H, OR
    - way underpriced with a huge S&H.

I can use eBay for a start if I stick to bulk lots.
Since I'm just starting I need everything.

The French are driving me nuts.
For the 1999 Euro 2-cent there are 12 varieties and they aren't particularly easy to distinguish apart.

See my reply #17. Not quite sure what kind of problem you have there, or what exactly it is that you find so terribly complicated ...

    There are die varieties.
Three reverse dies and four obverse dies.
Each reverse die has 6 distinguishing characteristics.
The obverse dies have 2 to 4 distinguishing characteristics.
    And ALL of the dies are paired (3 x 4 = 12).
First I have to translate the descriptions from French to English.
Then I have to ID the sometimes slight differences (such as straight coastline vs. curved coastline).
Actually it makes it sort of fun but VERY slow going.

And this is just the 2-cent coins.

Ah, now I see. I collect euro coins myself (and use them every day), but for my collection I do not take such minor varieties into account. So as far as I am concerned, and I guess that applies to most euro collectors, there is precisely one 2 ct FR 1999 type. ;) After all, even collecting "by design" only, not taking different years into acount, will take quite a while.

But if you want to have all possible pieces, you will indeed have to get more. Some people collect all five mint marks from DE, or even both "types" of the €2 edge orientation. Also keep in mind that not every denomination/country/year combination was issued for circulation. I suppose it won't be the French only who will drive you nuts ...

Lighthouse finally got back to me.
Retail prices ARE included in the referenced catalogue.
    AND it's in English.
I'll try to remember to give you my opinion of the catalogue when I get it.
