    I sometimes visit Etsy to get a few chuckles out of the so called "Rare", "Unique", "One of a kind" and "Mint Errors" that are listed. Even the price they ask for are ludicrous. Here is one dude who obviously has no Idea what true Mint Errors are.
    These should never sell!

    If any newbies who see this thread want to ask why they are not error coins they can ask me!

    Enjoy :banghead::facepalm::meh:.. :hilarious:

    Does Etsy have a "report" feature for items that are not as described or fraudulent?

    @paddyman98 you should put all your metal detector finds on Etsy. You'd be one rich dude.

    One possible way to curb this sort of nonsense.
    Charge a listing fee based on the starting price.
    0.1% of the starting price.
    The would be 10¢ at $100; $1 at $1000; $10 at $10,000.
    That $50,000 opening would cost the seller $50 just to make the listing.

    I've got dozens like that and they're 90% silver - probably worth millions :rolleyes:
    The seller is partially correct - they are all 'one of a kind' :confused:

    Stop looking at Etsy for coins.

    Just stop. It will add 20 points to your credit score when you don't buy that garbage...

    Nope, I see you clicking on the browser. Stop. Gibbsian head SMACK

    At least the seller listed them really high. Anyone who has that much money to spend on a coin should be smart enough to know better. Who spends $12,500 on Etsy, anyway?
