Many of us follow CT and read its threads. Sometimes I think a thread would be particularly interesting to some collectors who are not following along right then. Years ago I categorized and listed some threads with links and put a page with the links on the web. Today I added a few on a third page (linked to the older pages). http://augustuscoins.com/ed/threads3.html You can get a lot of enjoyment out of learning from old threads. For example, I recently added a link to a thread on the extremely common late Roman FEL TEMP REPARATIO, soldier-spearing-fallen-horseman type. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/fel-temp-friday-a-fallen-horseman-thread.375587/ My list is curated and annotated just enough to be helpful. Enjoy! By the way, there are many more links on pages 1 and 2 than on page 3. For example, one is a link to "zoo types": https://www.cointalk.com/threads/we...ngle-weve-got-hippocamps-and-centaurs.337881/
That's a great idea Valentinian having so many great threads in the one place, stops the searching around here and still only finding a few, actually just read a couple on your site that I think I missed when posted. Keep up the great work, the coin collecting community needs more dedicated people like you.
