I'm laughing because it took us two pages to figure out to tell you to look at the edge, lol. But, yes, it looks like the copper-clad one. The thing about these transitional ones is that one of the silver planchets from the year before got mixed in with the copper-clad ones being struck in the year after. In other words, a 1964 silver planchet got mixed in with the 1965 copper-clad planchets. Thus, when you see a 1978 coin, you have to think, that's quite a long time for a 1964 silver planchet to have been hanging around without having been struck. And, that's why a 1978 silver coin would have been a real mind-blower of a find. Hope that makes some sense.
Heheeee don't be discouraged though!!!!! This is fun and there are a lot of helpful experts here to help you out and help me to Now the fun can start, I hope you keep looking for error coins!!!!
Lol oh I'm not I'm just like dang not worth anything.. Well I have more to come so thanks for the help
I found s similar one that looks and feels as if it has silver in it. It’s different than a normal quarter for sure.

So glad I read this. I have the same quarter and for the past 3 days I've told friends to compare it to other quarters as it does sound silver.
