Error or Damage? Mississippi State Quarter

I was looking through a roll of quarters I picked up on the way home from work today. What are your thoughts/opinions? At first sight I thought damage for sure. Error or Damage?

You gotta ask yourself "how would this have happened at the mint?". If the answer is "I dunno" then you are most likely looking at damage.

 

Obvious damage. Looks like road rash from a parking lot find.

 

With a coin looking like that, there should never be any question :
AAD (Absolutely All Damage).

 

You're kidding, right?

 

I always ask if the coin's appearance could be done in my garage. If I can do it at home, it's not an error.
