error in mint set?

    I found this coin in my set. Looks like a lot of doubling.

    Those images aren't very clear. I assume the coin is still in the Mint cello.

    Yes. Please let us see the whole coin - both sides please. and clearer imagines. What year mint set is this?

    Looks like MD but it's hard to tell from those images.

    The packaging doesn't help either.

    It's a zinc cent, these have a lot of problems. I think from the first picture I see split plate doubling.

    still working on a better picture keeps glaring ...should I take it out of set?

    Not sure what set it is in but I would leave as is, especially if it's in the original packaging.

    As mentioned, it's the copper plating
    splitting off the raised digits from the
    striking pressure.

    Not an error, more of an anomaly -

    Leave it as is. I always return to my sets, and see if I missed anything, they are little reminders of what is common.

    from what I can see with eye and what I can show here is by scope two diff images. .currently stepping up my hardware game before showing coins to people..enjoying all the information on this site getting to know the errors better
