Error dime? (Sorry, bad pics)

I know a kid willing to trade me a few coins for a small gold ring. Mostly “eh...” status coins, I do like an 1886 nickel and a roosie that looks like it may be some error with a die I have never seen before. What do the experts say about the dime? Or the lot in general? Good deal?

PS. Sorry for the lousy pics, they are the only ones I’ve got.

The Dime is damaged.. Not a mint error
Keep the gold ring.. Probably worth more than all those coins

The 1886 is a key coin, and if real, is a keeper. The rest are common but it all depends upon how much your ring is worth. Can't make out any date on the Buffalo. Best to have the 1886 nickel looked at by a coin dealer if you are not familiar with coins in general.

As Tommy stated, the 1886 V-nickel is a tough date. I can see scratches on the obverse so that will lower its value. Value your ring and have the nickel looked at by a dealer. All you have to do is compare and make a choice.
