If the composition is steel it would have been struck in 1943. If there is no VDB on the truncation of Lincoln&#039;s bust it would have been struck before 1917. </p><p><br /></p><p>If it is a bronze Memorial Cent it was struck between 1959 and 1982. If it is a Zinc Cent Memorial Cent it was struck between 1982 and 2008. In 2009 there were four different reverse designs. If the reverse of your coin is one of them then obviously it was struck in 2009. </p><p><br /></p><p>If the coin has a Shield reverse it was struck in either 2010 or 2011.
