I recently acquired this Canadian 1969 Proof-like set, with a small clip on the nickel dollar. Clips on Canadian nickel dollars are generally scarce, and they are almost unheard of in the pliofilm Proof-like sets. I am torn as to what to do. Do I keep the set intact with the clipped dollar in the original pliofilm? Or, do I cut it out, and send it to PCGS?? Before blurting out your answer, you should know that I have a PCGS showcase set of Canadian nickel dollar errors: http://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/showcase.aspx?sc=1621 A prooflike clip would be a lovely edition to the showcase set, but I am unsure if I should extract the coin, or leave the set intact.
