Error coin in set - extract or intact??

Error coin in a mint set, what do I do??

  1. Leave the set intact - the error is visible and it is cool seeing it in an intact mint issued set.

    80.0%
  2. Snip it and send it to PCGS, for a showcase set.

    20.0%
  3. Snip it, and leave it raw. Errors sell themselves...

I recently acquired this Canadian 1969 Proof-like set, with a small clip on the nickel dollar. Clips on Canadian nickel dollars are generally scarce, and they are almost unheard of in the pliofilm Proof-like sets.

I am torn as to what to do. Do I keep the set intact with the clipped dollar in the original pliofilm? Or, do I cut it out, and send it to PCGS?? Before blurting out your answer, you should know that I have a PCGS showcase set of Canadian nickel dollar errors:

A prooflike clip would be a lovely edition to the showcase set, but I am unsure if I should extract the coin, or leave the set intact.

let say it was a 69 mint set, and if the dime was a large date, would you cut it out then
