Received this interesting (and rare) denarius of Domitian yesterday. Part of an early series of denarii minted in Ephesus for Vespasian, Titus and Domitian. This one is part of Group 6 with EPE mint mark. What's interesting is that the obverse is draped and cuirassed with agis and the die is shared between different reverses.

http://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-150117

DOMITIANVS CAESAR AVG

Bare-headed and cuirassed bust of Domitian to right, wearing aegis.

AVG and mint mark EPE within oak wreath.

Ephesus 71 AD

3.28g

RIC 1445 (R).
